MISSION AND PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
Attendance and involvement at work:
· Observe the MSF charter.
· Perform all activity in line with the MSF procedures.
· Respect the time schedule and be at work on time (flexible at anytime).
· Treat the people transported with care and respect.
· Respect the patient privacy and strictly respect community culture, norms.
· Maintain good relationship with other team members.
1. General Role and responsibilities.
· Deliver excellent customer service at all the times according to MSF rules.
· Deal with all the inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person or on telephone.
· Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and MSF protocols.
· Always adhere to all MSF internal regulation and hospital protocols.
· Be involved and contribute at team meetings.
· Carry out instructions given by the management team and immediate supervisor.
Giving food orders for patients of all the units of hospital.
Helping in archiving files of the patients.
2. Triage
- Receiving patients, administer all patients on the front desk.
- Seeing that the waiting line remains orderly
- Fulfilling all the reasonable requests of the patients and attendants and also ensuring the comfort satisfaction and safety of waiting patients.
- Report any patient emergency issue immediately to the medical staff on duty.
- Assist in keeping the hospital reception area clean and tidy, at all the times.
- Report any potential security issue to immediate supervisor or hospital management.
- Handle incoming calls and help with referrals and general enquiries
- Managing the waiting room area to insure all patients are consulted by medical staff
3. Registration
- Identifying patients and taking their administrative details
- Directing the patients towards the doctor, watching over the spatial organisation of the site and the regular flow of patients
- Maintain confidentiality of the personal information collected during the initial meeting with the patient or attendant. Keep up to date with the patients’ situation and share information only with concerned persons (attendants, medical staff)
- Provide reports, as required about the patients to MSF management
- Managing the database from the patient file
4. Reimbursements:
· Reimburse the discharged patients according to the zones from which patient has arrived.
Reimbursements to all the referrals from the PWH to other facility for further management
