NETWORK ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, VLANs

• Configure and troubleshoot access control readers, controllers and software

• Assist with configuring overall network security (firewall, IPS, DMZ, IPsec)

• Assist with configuring wireless network authentication and security

• Assist with configuring bandwidth distribution and load balancing

• Improve existing labeling and cabling standards

• To plan and implement server virtualization and load balancing where needed

• Design, implement and maintain server farms and voice/messaging infrastructure

• Tune and monitor application and operating system performance.

Requirements:

• Building and deploying technical solutions

• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.

• Troubleshoot problems reported by users.

• Make recommendations for future upgrades.

• Maintain network and system security.

• Analyze and isolate issues.
